Fasion Revolution - The Fashion Transparency Index 2023

Fashion Revolution was founded by Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro in the wake of the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013. We have grown to become the world’s largest fashion activism movement, mobilising citizens, brands and policymakers through research, education and advocacy.

Progress on transparency in the global fashion industry is still too slow among 250 of the world’s largest fashion brands and retailers, with brand performance varying greatly. This year’s Fashion Transparency Index reveals a lack of transparency in several crucial areas.
